Do you have activities on the campsite?

At Lislebonne, guests never have to be bored, especially in July and August. Every week they organize a communal meal on Wednesday, a cozy evening where guests sit together at the table and enjoy good food and company.

In addition, the campsite has a covered, heated swimming pool, one of the favorite spots on the grounds. Even if the weather is not great, you can always come here for a refreshing dip.

There is also plenty to do on and around the lake. Guests can use pedal boats and paddleboards for free; a perfect way to get on the water and have fun together. Moreover, Audrey and Thomas encourage crayfish fishing, an activity that is not only fun but also surprisingly exciting.

And that’s not all: from sporty challenges like pétanque to cozy concerts on Tuesday evenings (in July and August), there is something for everyone.

The best part? All facilities are free, except for the restaurant. This way everyone can participate and enjoy the best Lislebonne has to offer.

Did you have challenges in the beginning?

The biggest challenge Audrey and Thomas faced was gaining recognition. Starting a new naturist campsite is one thing, but making sure naturists also find you is quite another.

They quickly discovered that there are very few communication channels specifically aimed at naturists. Because of that, it was difficult to convey their message and bring Lislebonne to the attention of the right target group. Getting known was undoubtedly the biggest hurdle in the beginning.

What concrete measures do you take to protect biodiversity?

Camping Lislebonne is located in a special natural area and therefore carries a Natura 2000 classification. This European network aims to protect valuable species and their habitats, and this applies also to the lake on the campsite and the small river that flows behind it.

To comply with Natura 2000 standards, Audrey and Thomas pay close attention to using products and materials that do no harm to the environment. But their commitment goes further than that:

Solar energy for hot water
All showers and sinks are heated by solar energy. This makes it possible to provide guests with comfortably warm water in a fully sustainable way.

Energy-efficient heat pump for the swimming pool
The pool is heated by a modern heat pump that consumes considerably less energy. This ensures a pleasant water temperature without unnecessary environmental burden.

Ecological water purification
For all wastewater on the campsite they use a reed bed filtration system - a natural and efficient way to purify water. This system works excellently and is fully in harmony with the surroundings.

Thanks to these measures, Audrey and Thomas not only meet the Natura 2000 standards but also create a holiday place where comfort and ecology go hand in hand.

Absolutely, Audrey and Thomas are always full of dreams and plans. For them, the adventure with Lislebonne is never finished; they want to improve the campsite step by step, but always with respect for the small scale and personal atmosphere that their guests appreciate so much.

They have various ideas for new activities and small events, but keep their plans secret for now. That way every return to Lislebonne remains a surprise, with always something new to discover.
