Family campground for all ages
In the heart of the Dordogne lies a campground with a story. For forty years, Le Couderc has been a trusted name in the naturist world; a place where tradition and renewal go hand in hand.
We took a look behind the scenes of this unique family-run campsite.
On a warm
summer day, the moment you walk onto the grounds of Le Couderc, you can feel it:
there’s something special in the air. Maybe it’s the smell of freshly baked
pizza, the sound of children playing by the stream, or the warm greeting from a
neighbor you’ve never met before.
Le Couderc isn’t your average naturist campground; it’s a vibrant,
welcoming community that has been bringing people together in freedom and
connection for decades. It’s a place where you naturally slow down and where
generations feel at home, each in their own way.
What began as a wild
piece of land with an old farmhouse has grown into a campground with character
and soul. The first steps were taken by Benk and Nelleke, who had a dream and
the dedication to bring it to life. Their children continued to build on that
foundation, and since 2022, the third and youngest generation has been bringing
fresh energy; focused on the future, while honoring everything that already
made Le Couderc so special.
“We welcome
everyone: families, couples, and solo travelers.
Whether you’ve been going on
naturist vacations for years or are curious to try it for the first time.
Everyone is welcome.”
