Campsite De Brongaard in Hellevoetsluis is a welcoming naturist campsite and association ground with a rich tradition. Where once there was only an empty meadow, there is now a green oasis full of peace, nature and friendliness. Thanks to the efforts of the members of the Naturisten Vereniging Hellevoetsluis (N.V.H.), today you’ll find ponds, trees, spacious camping pitches and modern facilities. It is the ideal place to relax, meet like-minded people and fully enjoy naturism in a pleasant atmosphere.

Over more than four decades, campsite De Brongaard has undergone an impressive transformation. After losing its original location, the members decided to join forces and build a new site from the ground up. With perseverance and community spirit, an empty meadow was turned into a beautiful campsite with a swimming pond, natural surroundings, open space and a welcoming clubhouse.

In 2026 the association will celebrate its 45th anniversary; a milestone that underlines the strength of working together. De Brongaard has become much more than just a campsite: it is a warm community where peace, nature and connection are central. Whether you are visiting for the first time or have been a member for years, the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home right away.

What makes the swimming pond at De Brongaard special?

The swimming pond is an important centerpiece of the grounds. The water is regularly checked and maintained to ensure it remains clean, clear and safe for swimming. Members and camping guests can relax, swim or simply enjoy the view while the natural surroundings are preserved.

What does the sanitary building at De Brongaard offer?

The spacious sanitary building is centrally located on the grounds and is cleaned ecologically by the members. It has seven showers with underfloor heating, six washbasins, five dishwashing stations, five toilets, two urinals and a toilet with shower for people with reduced mobility.

There are also practical facilities such as a washing machine and dryer (for a fee), a shared refrigerator and a disposal point for chemical toilets.

Why is it important for younger members to join?

The association wants to preserve the joy, traditions and sense of community that naturism brings. Younger members bring new energy, ideas and willingness to contribute to maintenance, ensuring the grounds remain well-kept and activities can be organized.

Current members are proud of how the association operates and hope that younger generations will carry this enthusiasm forward.

What role does joint work on the grounds play?

Working together is a core part of association life. Members maintain the green areas, the swimming pond, the sanitary facilities and other amenities. This work is voluntary, but it creates a close-knit community and a sense of pride.
